Super expensive, but again basically no overlap so it's fine.
Diadems are high enough level items this won't matter, they can roll any affix at any ilvl. This recipe reduces the item level every time you do it, so if you repeat this on a Coronet or Tiara eventually you won't be able to roll the good mods. But if level doesn't matter, gambling is easier.
The reason for the difference is that level 86+ magic rings can have a mod that spawns a required level of 96, and it would be a shame to roll something GG and then have to power level to get value. Any blue ring from any level 85 area would work, except for Champions or Boss groups. You're guaranteed 4 mods well before you are at a high enough level to gamble ilvl89 magic amulets, and you're looking for 2 all skills, a 10 FCR mod, plus a 10 roll on the innate FCR mod. The best crafted items, so save all of your Amethysts for this. Ral+ PAmethyst + ilvl89+ magic amulet + magic jewel. You'll get more Tals than Hels/Amns, so use the extras to cube to Rals. You can get 35/112/8 FCR/mana/magic absorb. Use Tal+Thul+Ort+Amn, and Hel+TP Scrolll to unsocket. The caster amulet and ring sound interesting, and the Blood armor/headgear might be useful for a Merc. Which of these crafting recipes are actually useful / which should I try to craft? My main characters at the moment are a level 87 FO/FB Sorc and a level 85 Summoner Necro.
